Local Chapters

Over 150 chapters coast to coast provide face-to-face mom connections via regular evening meetings with topical discussions and guest speakers, and an array of additional activities (determined by the individual chapters), such as Mom’s Night Out, book clubs, seasoned moms groups, playgroups, family outings and more.

Mothers & More’s quarterly member publication, written by and for members, that provides features on mothers’ realities, needs and issues; personal essays; national level organizational news and highlights on what members and chapters are doing across the country.

Brain,Child: the magazine for thinking mothers (NEW member benefit option!)
An award-winning, quarterly print publication that presents motherhood the way it really is through personal essays and in-depth features, debates, fiction, book reviews, news and humor. Barbara Kingsolver, Jane Smiley, Anne Tyler, and dozens of other great writers share their take on the joys and challenges of motherhood.

Mothers & More Online

Mothers & More is “virtually” everywhere you are, as close as your computer and the Internet. Night and day, you can connect with other members and Mothers & More services and activities. Learn more about Mothers & More Online.

Getting Involved

Most of the management and work of Mothers & More is done by our volunteer-member staff throughout the country. At the local level, it is done both in person and online. At the national level, it is done via a true “virtual workplace,” via email and teleconferences. Find out the benefits of getting involved.

Taking Action

Help us put Mothers & More’s mission and beliefs into action. Explore with others, the economic, social and cultural issues and challenges facing today’s mothers. Engage with other members in a little “naptime activism” online or through local chapter community outreach projects. There are lots of small, simple but significant ways you can make a difference. Fees (In US Funds)

• One–year membership (United States) – $45
• One-year membership (United States) with one-year subscription to Brain,Child – $55
• One–year membership (International) – $55

How To Join

• For New and Renewing members, you may register online with a credit card for all chapters within the United States. Both Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
• Print out our Membership Form , which you may mail or fax to our office.
• During our business hours (9:30 – 2:00 CST), you may also call the office and charge your membership or renewal on a MasterCard or Visa.
